Time is a funny thing to try and figure out. Life is a lot...

TIME

Time is a funny thing to try and figure out. Life is a lot like time. Here one minute seeming so all fire important and gone the next to be forgotten.

A song playing on the radio can transport me back to a moment in history long ago stored away safely. The memory hurts. It tears at my heart and soul. Tears well up in my eyes but yet the song continues to play, oblivious to my pain. I allow the notes, the melody, the words to transport me back in time. Maybe this time I will see it with mature eyes so the pain will lessen.

The last few notes echo in my mind. I take a deep breath, fold the memory back up and tuck it away at the bottom of the stack of memories hoping it stays put this time. I know different. Many years have past and the pain is still there.

How much time does it take to erase the pain I wonder.

I will continue to post a picture and my thoughts as I get the time. Got a cool picture you want me to comment on? This is a great...

I love photos that start me thinking….

This is a great photo for that. The photo has so much symbolism. Here is what I got on my pondering thoughts -

The chain represents life, it is looped through the heart which represents love and relationsships. The heart is topped with swirls representing the energy of our thoughts, deeds, and actions. Iron represents strength but also rusts without the proper treatment. The stones represent ancient knowledge.

The spider webs here and there represent all the stories and lives linked together throughout time. The moss is green thereby representing the healing we do, living life as we must. The white may be the frost that represents the ice and hardening of our hearts as relationships keep us chained to some place we do not want to be in life.

Let loose your chains because if you but just look you will find that the chain is not locked, you are not stuck, and life is a fantastic journey. Take the first step.

I am always interested what you the reader gets from any of this too. I love the symbology I found in this picture.

While Stumbling (www.StumbleUpon.com) I came across this website and decided to start a cool blogging site. I am going to use some of the great pictures I have collected over the years and add a few thoughts of my own with them.

I hope you will tune in with me as I bring out some very interesting thoughts, ideas, and information.
